Work Environment

This position allows for remote work, providing flexibility for both therapists and clients. You will have the support of a community health clinic that prioritizes holistic approaches to mental care. Our work culture emphasizes teamwork, with regular meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance therapeutic effectiveness. Working hours are primarily Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility based on patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices to create customized treatment plans for clients.
• Implement and administer therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), among other strategies that cater to individual needs.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning and case management with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to improve the quality of care and share best practices.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, equipping them with necessary resources to support their journey.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and research in the mental health field to ensure cutting-edge therapeutic practices are employed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. You will assist patients dealing with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Your tailored therapeutic approaches will be instrumental in promoting recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania.
• Proven ability to apply solution-oriented psychotherapy techniques to individual cases, customizing therapy to meet distinct client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating rapport with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, ensuring effective decision-making in client care.
• A commitment to working within a team-oriented environment, valuing the contributions and perspectives of colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community mental health settings, particularly within integrated care models.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline clinical documentation.
