Purpose of Position
As an ambassador of the NetJets brand, the Flight Attendant is entrusted with delivering an elite and personalized air travel experience while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to safety and security. Representing the pinnacle of private aviation, the Flight Attendant is the face of NetJets, combining safety leadership, refined inflight service, and bespoke hospitality. Each flight must reflect our unwavering standards with safety above all, followed by a seamless, luxurious travel experience that anticipates and exceeds the expectations of every NetJets Owner.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safety and security of all Owners and passengers within the aircraft cabin, ensuring strict adherence to the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, Standard Operating Procedures, and all the associated policies.
  • Conducts thorough interior preflight inspections; welcomes Owners and guests with warmth and professionalism; provides personalized briefings and serves as the subject matter expert on all aircraft safety, comfort, and entertainment systems.
  • Must be able to source high-quality catering from external providers when necessary, ensuring all items meet luxury standards and align with Owner preferences.
  • Must deliver elevated inflight service, including premium beverage and food presentation, turndown service, and execution of bespoke Owner profiles and detailed service notes.
  • Must ensure all cabin baggage is correctly and safely stowed in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Must be capable of conducting flights for Owners traveling with pets or who permit smoking onboard, while maintaining discretion and service excellence.
  • Must operate effectively within a collaborative team/crew environment, ensuring consistent compliance with all safety and operational protocols. This includes close collaboration with teams such as Owner Services, NetJets Service Representatives, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Acts as a trusted liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) through safe arrival at their destination, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience throughout.
  • Proactively communicates any cabin-related maintenance concerns or irregularities to the Pilot in Command to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Completes all administrative duties, including inventory documentation, service passdowns, and required crew reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensures the aircraft cabin is consistently maintained in a clean and organized state, adhering to company standards.
  • Leverage innovative thinking to address complex issues, making prompt decisions in dynamic environments to drive successful outcomes.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned, dependent on specific trip or operational requirements.

  • Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage with clarity, professionalism, and poise.
  • Proficient in personal computing, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be able to occupy assigned jumpseat and secure required safety restraints in accordance with FAA regulations without modification. Must be able to maneuver safely within aircraft cabin dimensions and operate emergency exits.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must demonstrate exceptional adaptability and the ability to perform in dynamic and fast-changing environments.
  • Must be able to manage personal rest effectively in preparation for active duty throughout the duration of each tour.
  • Flight duty periods may last up to fourteen (14) hours daily over an eight (8) day period, crossing multiple time zones and varying climate conditions.
  • While on duty, must be willing and able to travel away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights, with accommodations provided.
  • Must be eligible to obtain all necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials.
  • Must successfully pass all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background screenings and obtain required airport and U.S. Customs clearances.
  • Must possess a valid passport and maintain the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Must hold a valid State-issued driver's license.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the English language .
  • Must exhibit a highly polished, service-oriented appearance and demeanor, with the ability to create positive first and lasting impressions and engage effectively with Owners.
  • Must possess superior oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure or in high-stakes situations.
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with acute attention to detail in both technical and service-oriented matters.
  • Must be able to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Must be comfortable working around animals, including providing care and attention during and surrounding Owner flights.
  • Must maintain required Flight Attendant certification and FAA compliance post-hire.
  • Must successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
  • Prior experience in premium or luxury service industries
  • Familiarity with high-touch service environments such as private aviation, yachting, Michelin-starred dining, or concierge services.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a concentration in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts
