Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable objectives to ensure patient progress.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care.
• Provide education to patients and their families about home-based care strategies and exercises to support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an outpatient Physical Therapist at our Lehigh Acres facility, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient-centered approach allows you to tailor therapy sessions to address the specific challenges and goals of each individual, fostering a sense of empowerment and motivation.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license in Florida or eligibility for licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining clinical detail and utilizing effective progress tracking methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care and treatment progress.
• Experience in specialized therapy techniques, such as dry needling or myofascial release, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
