Role Purpose

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver direct patient care, which encompasses assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with nursing care standards.

Responsibilities
  • Encourage patient and family-centered care within a supportive environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions, including post-treatment care and medication administration.
  • Engage in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with specific goals, ensuring effective communication throughout the care continuum.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering their preferences and barriers to care, including values and cultural aspects.
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
