Work Schedule

Shifts are from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities.

Imagine collaborating with some of the most esteemed Interventional and Neuro Radiologists in the country, utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to make impactful decisions for patient care. The Vascular and Neuro Interventional Radiologists at our facility have pioneered numerous advancements in radiology. Our two specialized clinical service lines include:

  • Interventional Radiology: A close-knit team of clinical specialists, including Medical Doctors, Registered Nurses, and Radiologic Technologists, performing specialized vascular and interventional procedures.
  • Neuroradiology: A highly skilled team that conducts complex procedures such as cerebral angiography, myelography, stent placements, and aneurysm coilings.

Our Radiology Department is consistently ranked among the top five in the United States, performing over 453,000 diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures each year.

Role Purpose

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver direct patient care, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, all in accordance with established nursing standards.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a patient- and family-centered care approach in a supportive environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries, including post-treatment care and medication administration.
  • Engage in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team and the patient’s family or caregivers.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills to assess and address the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients, considering their preferences and barriers to care.

This position has been identified as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to maintain constant alertness and operate safely.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
