MindShift Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a full-time Mental Health Counselor. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at MindShift Behavioral Health, your responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and nurturing a positive, trusting rapport with patients to create a therapeutic environment where they feel safe to share their thoughts and feelings.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues.
• Collaborating with patients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, circumstances, and goals, ensuring that plans are dynamic and adaptable as treatment progresses.
• Meeting regularly with patients for counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to support their mental health journey while adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Regularly assessing patient progress through interviews and evidence-based tools, documenting all findings meticulously to inform ongoing treatment approaches.
• Providing crisis intervention when needed, effectively assessing emotional states and delivering appropriate therapeutic responses to help clients navigate acute challenges.
• Coordination of care by referring clients to specialists and community resources to ensure comprehensive mental health support.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid and active LCSW license to practice in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of three years of experience as a mental health counselor in an outpatient setting, demonstrating an understanding of varying treatment modalities.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in electronic medical records, word processing, and spreadsheet management.
• Strong ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment while maintaining high-quality care standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.

Preferred Experience

While the above qualifications are required, any additional experience in group therapy facilitation, trauma-informed care, or specialized therapeutic techniques will be considered beneficial. Familiarity with telehealth technologies is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 to $105,000, complemented by an attractive benefits package, including:
