MindShift Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our progressive telehealth clinic. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans, including discharge strategies, based on thorough psychosocial assessments.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships within community resource groups, representing MindShift at meetings and participating in committees focused on addressing the social needs of our patients.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention efforts for patients experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, ensuring a responsive and empathetic approach.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other medical professionals regarding patient progress, needs, concerns, and any significant issues that arise during treatment.
• Document clinical progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with department policies, ensuring patient information is both up-to-date and secure.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Our commitment to a recovery-oriented approach means that each Counselor plays an essential role in facilitating patient engagement, promoting resilience, and supporting clients in developing coping strategies through both individual and group modalities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid licensure in the State of Oregon as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Strong knowledge of mental health theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with telehealth practices and knowledge of electronic health record systems would be advantageous. A background in working with diverse populations and familiarity with culturally responsive practices will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, MindShift offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
