Position Overview

MindShift Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our expanding team. This full-time remote position invites licensed professionals, including LMFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs, to deliver exceptional mental health services. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and based on thorough psychosocial assessments.
• Connect with community resource groups and participate in meetings to advocate for our patients' social needs, effectively representing MindShift Behavioral Health.
• Provide empathetic counseling and immediate crisis intervention services for patients, ensuring accurate assessment and effective treatment of emotional and behavioral issues.
• Maintain open communication with physicians, updating them on patient progress, concerns, and any potential challenges to treatment.
• Accurately document clinical and progress notes in a timely manner, adhering to department policies and ensuring compliance with established standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve adults and adolescents dealing with a varied scope of mental health issues, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring conditions. By utilizing evidence-based treatment methods, you will help patients navigate their challenges and work towards recovery and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a mental health counselor, specifically in an outpatient setting.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice in the state of Oregon as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working within a community health setting would be advantageous, as would familiarity with integrated health care models and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients in these environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
