Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while allowing for in-person interactions as the need arises. You will enjoy a full-time schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-person therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, focusing on mental health challenges and relationship dynamics.
  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to understand each client’s unique mental health needs, which will inform the development of tailored treatment plans.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and treatment notes, strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations and state laws.
  • Establish respectful and effective working relationships with clients, their support systems, and your colleagues to provide holistic care.
  • Collaborate with clients in creating and monitoring treatment plans that address their specific goals, ensuring ongoing evaluation and adjustment as necessary.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients during crisis situations, utilizing therapeutic interventions to de-escalate emergencies.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions to share insights, strategies, and to foster professional development through ongoing education.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload while ensuring quality of care and effective scheduling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will be diverse, ranging from individuals dealing with anxiety and depression to couples navigating relationship challenges and families seeking to improve their dynamics. You will be expected to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches tailored to each client's needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT licensure in the state of California.
  • Thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice within California.
  • Strong clinical skills with at least two years of experience in individual, couple, and family therapy.
  • Ability to respond effectively and calmly during client crises, employing suitable therapeutic interventions.
  • Flexibility to work with diverse client issues and adaptability to various therapeutic modalities.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and HIPAA compliance relevant to therapy.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated success in performing clinical assessments and developing treatment plans aligned with best practices.
  • Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
  • Proficiency in digital documentation systems and electronic health records (EHR).
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
