Mind Congruency Client-centered Therapy is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join our team in a full-time capacity. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work in a flexible environment from the comfort of your home while still maintaining a connection to our Outpatient Office. Our work setting promotes adaptability, ensuring that your schedule can accommodate the needs of your patients while encouraging work-life balance. Although the standard work hours are Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 4 PM, occasional adjustments may be needed based on client circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans by utilizing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to address the specific needs and challenges of each client.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other recognized modalities to facilitate meaningful change in patients’ lives.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant legal standards, ensuring that all documentation supports positive client outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, encompassing psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to maintain high-quality care standards, sharing insights and strategies to improve therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health disorders, treatment strategies, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge for better health choices.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the mental health field through continuous professional development and participation in training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Mind Congruency, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and adjustment issues. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, and your ability to connect with them through empathy and effective communication will be pivotal in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.
• An active, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is essential.
• Ability to employ solution-based psychotherapy techniques tailored to individual needs, showcasing flexibility and creativity in your approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships and engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrate robust problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, vital for assessing client needs and developing effective interventions.
• Experience working in collaborative team settings, contributing positively to a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient or community mental health setting is preferred, ideally involving a high caseload of diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure efficient management of clinical documentation.
• Certification in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care) is a plus.
