Work Environment

This role is conducted in a telehealth setting, allowing you to work remotely while being part of a supportive and vibrant professional community. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Miller Behavioral Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group therapy sessions that emphasize peer support, connection, and collective learning among clients dealing with similar challenges.
• Individual Counseling: Provide personalized therapy sessions tailored to clients’ unique needs, helping them explore their thoughts and emotions while developing coping strategies that foster long-term recovery.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to establish customized treatment plans that are not only goal-oriented but also reflective of their individual preferences.
• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track clients' progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring a responsive approach to care.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on young adults, aged 18 to 30, who are navigating outpatient treatment within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Our clients often face a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. As a counselor, you will utilize evidence-based practices to guide them through their healing journey.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Georgia.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to client-centered care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience or training in telehealth service delivery is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with young adults in a mental health setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000. In addition to a robust salary package, we provide comprehensive benefits, including:
