Job description

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiology

Summary:
Join a collaborative multi-specialty medical group in Brattleboro, Vermont, as a Locum Physician in Non-Invasive Cardiology. This role offers a primarily outpatient setting with a strong focus on high-quality patient care, diagnostic cardiology services, and continuity of care. Practice Highlights:
- Coverage Location: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, Brattleboro, Vermont
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Cardiology
- Estimated Coverage Start: October 2026
- Flexible Schedule: 3-5 days a week
- Average Clinic Patients Per Day: 16
- Collaborate with 2 Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs)
- Utilize Cerner for documentation and electronic medical records.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care in cardiology.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures including echocardiograms and EKGs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

  • Coordinate with referring physicians for continuity of care.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology [REQUIRED]
  • Willingness to obtain a Vermont License [REQUIRED]
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) [REQUIRED]
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications [REQUIRED]
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Current Vermont Medical License (or willingness to obtain) [REQUIRED]
  • CPR for Healthcare Providers [REQUIRED]
  • DEA Certification [REQUIRED]
