Work Environment

This role is onsite, providing you with the opportunity to engage in direct and meaningful interactions with patients in their home environments. By offering therapy in a familiar setting, you can foster a comforting atmosphere that promotes healing and growth. Your work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring our patients receive consistent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities to create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and supervise therapy techniques tailored to each patient’s needs, aiming to restore functionality and prevent further disability.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic processes and provide clear guidance on exercises and recovery plans to enhance patient engagement in their treatment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, meticulously tracking progress and adjustments in treatment plans to reflect changing needs.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices, integrating new techniques and evidence-based approaches into your treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Maximum Wellness PT, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those with chronic pain or debilitating conditions, and elderly clients aiming to maintain their functional abilities. By providing compassionate and personalized therapy, you will have a lasting impact on enhancing their independence and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human physiology and anatomy, specifically related to therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact and build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of proven experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in home care, assisted living, or acute care settings.
• Experience with pediatric patients or geriatric populations is highly valued but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to maintain patient documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
