Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to determine their functional limitations and establish personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic modalities like ultrasound, heat, and cold treatments, to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
  • Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly, ensuring optimal outcomes throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Educate patients about their injuries or conditions, providing detailed home exercise programs and strategies to support their recovery efforts.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment sessions, patient progress notes, and adjustments to therapy plans in compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care and communicate effectively regarding each patient’s status and treatment goals.
  • Foster strong rapport with patients, offering encouragement and motivation that promotes their commitment to the rehabilitation process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain management, and pediatric cases. Your role is vital in adapting therapy strategies to each patient's specific challenges, helping them develop the skills needed for daily activities and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
  • Strong foundation in human anatomy and physiology as it relates to rehabilitation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as a collaborative approach within a team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in pediatrics or acute care.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with assessment tools commonly used in physical therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
