Maximum Wellness PT is seeking a dedicated and caring Full-time Physical Therapist to join our esteemed rehabilitation center located in Irvine, California. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation center in the vibrant city of Irvine, California. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, collaborating with a team of skilled practitioners, including physicians, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals. Our center emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and ongoing education to ensure we provide cutting-edge care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and limitations, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Utilize various therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, to restore functional mobility and reduce pain.
• Work closely with healthcare team members to implement collaborative treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care and addressing any changes in patient conditions.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on treatment methods, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments necessary for optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as required to achieve desired outcomes.
• Stay informed with the latest advancements in physical therapy treatments and best practices through continuing education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach is holistic and focuses on not just rehabilitation, but also on empowering patients and enhancing their independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current Physical Therapist license issued by the state of California.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy disciplines.
• Exceptional communication skills to ensure effective interaction with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting, with a preference for those who have worked with pediatric or geriatric populations.
• Familiarity with treatment protocols for specific conditions, such as stroke rehabilitation or post-surgical recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
