A primary focus of this role is writing secure, cloud-ready code optimized for a Develop-Low / Deploy-High (L2H) workflow—utilizing established unclassified enterprise development ecosystems to build and test software that will safely promote across accredited cross-domain solutions into high-side, air-gapped operational networksResponsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Python frameworks.Build and integrate backend services, data pipelines, and enterprise application components.Collaborate with systems engineers, data engineers, and UI/UX developers to implement end-to-end solutions.Develop automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes within Agile environments.Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and integration challenges across distributed systems.Support cloud-native deployments, containerization, and secure software development practices.Minimum Qualifications:Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly.2-5 years of experience.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.Experience developing applications using Java and Python.Experience building RESTful APIs, web services, and backend integrations.Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL development.Experience with Git, version control systems, and Agile software development methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Spring Boot, Flask, FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Experience supporting DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.Knowledge of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API gateway technologies.Security+ certification or familiarity with secure coding and RMF principles.Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or other federal government programs.Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range.
