Senior Role - Change Management Supervisor (15+ years experience)

The role is a critical leadership role within the IT Change Management Organization, responsible for overseeing the change control processes, ensuring the stability and integrity of business applications and their underlying systems, and driving continuous improvement in change management practices. The customer engages in 3-month planning and execution cycles and this role will provide change management leadership and oversight during each improvement cycle This position requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to manage complex IT changes while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. The candidate must be familiar with the use of ServiceNow for general administration of change management functions. The role requires at least 3 days onsite in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change Process Oversight: Lead the design, implementation, and enforcement of IT change control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure all changes are properly assessed, approved, and documented.
- Risk Management: Evaluate potential risks associated with proposed IT changes, collaborating with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Change Advisory Board (CAB) Leadership: Chair or facilitate CAB meetings, ensuring effective decision-making and alignment with business objectives for high-impact changes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with IT operations, development teams, project managers, and business units to align change management activities with organizational goals and priorities.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all change management activities comply with regulatory requirements and support internal/external audits as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline change control workflows, leveraging automation tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of change processes and provide training to IT staff and stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption.
