Warehouse Manager | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mason seeking Warehouse Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to optimize efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage and mentor a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
  • Monitor and control warehouse budget, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely material flow and order fulfillment.
  • Implement and maintain a robust inventory management system, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciliations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to optimize inventory control and logistics processes
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing warehouse teams
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (OSHA, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
  • Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
  • Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish or other languages common in the local workforce.
  • Forklift operator certification and trainer experience.
