Job description

Ontario Technical Manager

Position Overview

The Ontario Technical Manager participates in all aspects of the technical production process, from problem-solving and team coordination to the implementation of technical initiatives. They utilize their expertise in technology trends and business management to mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead the technical team towards achieving the organization's goals. The Sr. Technical Manager is results-driven and will need to ensure his teams are efficiently delivering the company promise (QVALIT) to its customer base and technical staff.

Position type

The Ontario Technical Manager is a full-time, permanent position that requires full-time on-site work in a corporate office setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing technical teams. (Hiring, Onboarding, Training, Evaluating)
  • Implementing technical projects according to the company roll-out plan.
  • Tracking performance trends
  • Ensuring quality assurance
  • Continuous technical improvement.
  • Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Mentoring and supporting team members in their professional development and technical skill enhancement.
  • Reporting on project progress and team performance to senior management while providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security protocols.

Travel Requirements:

This position may require occasional travel to various locations, including but not limited to client sites, conferences, and corporate events. Candidates should be prepared for travel approximately 6 days per calendar month and/or up to 25% of the time as needed. All travel expenses will be reimbursed according to company policy.

Compensation:

Salary $80 000 per year
