Description

MaineHealth Primary Care, Family Medicineis seeking a Full-Time BC/BEFamily Medicine or Internal Medicine Physicianto provide care at ouroffice basedMaineHealth Primary Care Practicelocated inLivermore Falls, Maine.

The successful candidate willjoin our current highly skilled dynamic teamincluding physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APP), working together with outstanding support staff. Other specialty services on site include skin Services, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology, Pulmonology and Behavioral Health.Franklin is currently developing a new model of physicians being paired with an advanced practice provider. Franklin's Family Practice services include physical exams, women's health exams, sick visits, well-child visits, school and sports physicals and management of chronic health conditions. Blood work and lab services are on site, and inpatient care is at Franklin Hospital. The practice includes a skilled licensed clinical social worker to help facilitate behavioral health needs for their patients, allowing the entire health care team to work collaboratively to meet the needs of patients in the community.

The local medical community provides excellent collegial interaction and referral relationships.In addition to an annual base salary, the compensation model for physicians at MaineHealth offers significant additional income potential. Call requirements are 1:12 and the position offers teaching opportunities of nurse practitioners/physician assistants as well as medical students from University of New England's UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School program.

MaineHealth Franklin Hospitalis a 25-bed, critical-access hospital with a 50-member medical staff, with patient volume drawing from a wide geographic region with 40,000 people.

MinimumQualifications:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • NRP certification required and PALS highly recommended

This role offers:

The annual base salary for this position is $257,500.
