Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough crisis assessments for clients facing urgent mental health situations, utilizing evidence-based techniques to evaluate their needs effectively.
• Deliver immediate counseling services to individuals experiencing acute emotional distress, employing compassionate communication and clinical strategies for swift stabilization.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency service personnel when necessary to ensure the safety of clients and implement proper crisis intervention protocols.
• Create personalized, actionable crisis intervention plans, establishing follow-up care routes based on each client’s unique circumstances.
• Utilize crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations, ensuring a calm and supportive environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing addiction challenges, those needing immediate emotional support, trauma survivors, and individuals at risk of self-harm. Qualifications

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
