Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, using a telehealth platform that connects you with clients across the Dallas, Texas area and beyond. By using cutting-edge technology, our LPCs can efficiently provide therapeutic interventions from the comfort of their own homes, greatly enhancing convenience for both the counselor and the clientele. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, focusing on their goals and preferences.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify mental health challenges and collaboratively establish short- and long-term treatment objectives.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Regularly update and maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and collaborate on holistic client care strategies.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and trainings, to stay informed about current trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will include a diverse range of clients with varying mental health challenges, particularly those with limited access to traditional mental health services. This role is well-suited for those passionate about supporting individuals facing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and substance use disorders. By actively engaging in this work, you will contribute to positive client outcomes, helping families and individuals navigate their paths toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technology for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.
• A strong understanding of the legal and ethical considerations related to therapeutic practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing to a cohesive approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
