    THE JOB
    The Lead AI Solutions Engineer will build and ship high-impact, production-grade internal AI agents and agentic applications that solve meaningful business problems across the division. This role is the dedicated technical builder in a stakeholder + builder model, partnering closely with product and business stakeholders to turn prioritized use cases into functioning prototypes and production-ready internal tools. This role will be using AI-native workflows for majority of their tasks and will act as the SME for Agentic Engineering within the division.
    WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
    • Build, test, and iterate internal AI agents and workflow tools for priority business use cases
    • Partner with Product, IT, Analytics, Business stakeholders to translate needs into working solutions
    • Translate product requirements and business use cases into working technical implementations, including prompt design, tool orchestration, and workflow logic
    • Integrate AI agents with internal systems and data sources (e.g., CRM, documents, knowledge bases, communication tools) to enable real-world utility
    • Take early concepts and prototypes into usable, maintainable internal products
    • Collaborate with IT, data, and platform teams to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable integration of tools
    • Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices, and apply them pragmatically to improve delivery speed and quality
    • Serve as the Primary owner for deployment infrastructure for Internal Agentic Applications

    WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
    • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
    • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications, agents, or agentic workflows, including familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini, and frameworks like Google ADK or similar
    • Strong understanding of agentic engineering, including multi-step workflows, tool orchestration, memory/context management, agent harness design, and structured output generation
    • Ability to move from ambiguous problem statements to working solutions quickly, including rapid prototyping and productionizing internal tools
    • Experience integrating AI systems with internal tools and data sources via APIs, connectors, and workflow automation, ideally within AWS and/or GCP environments
    • Solid grasp of token optimization, prompt efficiency, and cost-performance tradeoffs, along with experience designing lightweight evaluation frameworks to measure agent quality and reliability
    • Familiarity with security, governance, and observability principles, including logging, monitoring, access control, and safe handling of internal data
    • Strong debugging and iteration skills, with the ability to identify edge cases, failure modes, and continuously improve deployed systems
    • Experience working in lean environments with minimal infrastructure support, and ability to independently own and deliver technical solutions end-to-end
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and business stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable and maintainable implementations
