Job description

Your Healing Mission Matters

As an OB/GYN Hospitalist at UP Health System-Marquette in Marquette, MI you will be inspired by the community you serve as a valued member of the Lifepoint Health team, a nationally recognized healthcare organization committed to caring with a local heart. You'll have access to the staff, resources, and technologies needed to make a meaningful impact on patient care while contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.

Position Details:

  • Hospital employed, established serviceline

  • Structure: Inpatient OB/GYN only, no outpatient clinic, rounding covers consults, deliveries, admissions

  • Schedule: 10x 24-hour shifts per month, 10hr on-site requirement

  • What: V-Backs are provided, C-sections done in the OR, average of 50 deliveries per month

  • Team: Work in conjunction with independent OB/GYN group, on-call physician responsible for ER admits and transfers, seasoned nurses with 10+ yrs of OB/GYN care, OR team available 24/7, Pediatric and Pediatric Cardiology coverage, level IIIA NICU staffed with three Neonatologists and three APPs, mobile transport team

  • Teaching: Michigan State University Medical Students and Family Practice Residents, residents on site in OB 24/7
