Job description

Join LIFE, Inc. - Goldsboro as a Resident Care Worker based in Wilson, NC. In this part-time role, you will provide compassionate, one-to-one support to a client, assisting with personal care, daily activities, and community involvement. With a competitive pay rate of $17.50 per hour paid bi-weekly, this position offers meaningful work helping individuals achieve greater independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Shifts
  • One to One part-time position.
  • One to One every- other weekend position

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance and supervision to clients during personal care activities such as dressing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Support clients during meals, encouraging the use of family-style dining to promote social interaction and independence.
  • Assist clients with various housekeeping tasks including clothing care, general cleaning, and yard maintenance.
  • Help clients prepare meals and nutritional supplements according to their individual needs.
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and monitor clients' adherence to their medication schedules.
  • Implement prescribed diet plans and ensure proper use of adaptive equipment as required.
  • Follow established behavior support programs, collect data, and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Support clients in active treatment programs by assisting with training objectives, recording progress, and helping meet service goals.
  • Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team by effectively communicating client information under supervisory guidance.
  • Transport clients safely in company vehicles and supervise them during community outings.
  • Assist clients during participation in school and day program activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support client well-being and organizational goals.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
