Position Overview

Life Help Clinical Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing critical support to families in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Work Environment

This role is conducted primarily in a remote setting, allowing flexibility and a conducive environment for both therapists and clients. While working from your home office, you will engage with clients through teletherapy sessions, utilizing modern technology to create meaningful connections. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and establish treatment goals tailored to their unique situations.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, employing active listening techniques to build rapport and encourage open communication.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation of client progress and interactions, adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other specialists within the clinic, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and recommendations for additional resources when necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in marriage and family therapy to continuously enhance your practice and offer clients the best possible outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals facing relationship challenges, families dealing with transitions, and couples navigating areas of conflict. You will engage with clients from varied backgrounds, ensuring that your approach is culturally sensitive and responsive to each family’s unique circumstances. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients achieve their emotional and relational goals, thereby enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Current LMFT license in the state of Arizona.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services, with a strong emphasis on family and relational dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients and facilitate meaningful transformations through effective therapy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, promoting collaboration and openness with clients and fellow team members.
  • A commitment to ethical practices and continuous professional development.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with a broad spectrum of clients, including those with complex mental health needs.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapy tools.
  • Experience in designing community workshops or support groups related to family therapy.
