Position Overview

Life Changes Therapy is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCSW, LPC) to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults and couples. As a licensed professional, you will provide therapy remotely, utilizing virtual platforms to connect with clients and address their unique mental health needs.

About the Organization

At Life Changes Therapy, we are a therapist-led practice rooted in principles of collaboration, professional development, and inclusivity. Our mission is to deliver ethical and high-quality mental health care while fostering a supportive environment for our team. We believe in empowering our counselors, providing the resources and support needed to ensure they thrive in their roles and deliver the best care possible to clients.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that is crucial in today’s fast-paced world. Our outpatient office serves as a hub for collaboration among team members, enhancing peer consultation and support even in a virtual setting. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, giving you a structured schedule while allowing the freedom of a home office setup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to individuals and couples, ensuring that each client's treatment plan reflects their personal goals;
  • Document client interactions and therapy sessions promptly, submitting all necessary documentation within 24 hours to maintain compliance and continuity of care;
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on client assessments, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes;
  • Engage in regular peer consultation sessions to share insights, enhance treatment approaches, and promote cohesive care strategies;
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate client records, preserving confidentiality and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population primarily consists of adults and couples navigating various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and significant life transitions. We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach, acknowledging and addressing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients to provide tailored therapeutic experiences.

Qualifications
  • A valid independent license in your field, such as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC, ensuring you are qualified to provide mental health services in Oregon;
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, equipping you with foundational knowledge and skills;
  • Proven experience with virtual therapy platforms, enabling you to effectively engage with clients from the comfort of their homes.
Preferred Experience

While two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized therapy areas or advanced training in modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or couples therapy will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, our benefits package includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching to help you save for your future;
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health and wellness;
  • Generous paid time off policy and life insurance options to provide peace of mind;
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development, including access to workshops and training sessions.
Career Growth Opportunities

Life Changes Therapy is committed to the professional development of our team members. As you gain experience in this role, you will have opportunities to pursue leadership positions, specialize in specific therapeutic techniques, or contribute to training new counselors, enhancing both your skills and the quality of care we provide.

Why Join Our Team
