Life Changes Therapy, a leading provider of mental health services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote role allows for flexibility within a supportive environment while providing impactful therapeutic services to individuals and couples.

Work Environment

This position allows you to work remotely, offering the flexibility needed to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still being integral to our outpatient office's operations. Our team regularly engages in virtual meetings and collaborative consultations to ensure seamless communication and cohesive client care. With a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, you will have consistent hours to provide care without the variability that can come with other settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and establish therapeutic goals.
• Provide individual and couple therapy sessions via virtual platforms, ensuring to tailor each session to the unique circumstances and expectations of clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on therapy modalities best suited for the client population.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation, completing all required notes within 24 hours of sessions to ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Participate in regular team consultations and case reviews, contributing insights and strategies to enhance overall client care.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and innovate therapy delivery methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients, including individuals and couples facing a variety of mental health challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will employ therapeutic techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, trauma, and more, ensuring that clients receive tailored support that resonates with their lived experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess independent licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in utilizing virtual therapy platforms to conduct sessions effectively, backed by experience in telehealth practices.
• Strong understanding of ethical practices and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with culturally sensitive practices will be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

Life Changes Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
