Life Change Behavioral Center is actively seeking a dedicated and proactive Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, taking into account their intensity, frequency, and duration.
  • Collaborate with clients to create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and circumstances.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment techniques, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with their evolving needs.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and developments regarding mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies.
  • Maintain complete and confidential client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
  • Engage in professional development activities, case consultations, and team meetings to bolster both personal and organizational growth.
  • Provide advocacy for clients to combat stigma related to mental health and ensure their needs are met with sensitivity and respect.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Life Change Behavioral Center, you will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role is pivotal in supporting individuals through their struggles, including marginalized groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. You will have a significant opportunity to make a positive impact on diverse client backgrounds, contributing to their long-term recovery and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Colorado.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
  • The annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 based on experience and qualifications.
