Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address both immediate and long-term mental health needs.
• Establish pre-crisis and crisis plans through nuanced risk assessments and positive behavior plans, ensuring that all strategies are evidence-based and in accordance with best practices.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation promptly, adhering to regulatory standards to maintain compliance and quality care.
• Actively engage with clinical teams to implement positive support plans, fostering collaboration between programs to achieve patient well-being.
• Participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the center’s standards of care.
• Serve as a key liaison to local service systems, government agencies, and community partners to strengthen our outreach efforts and resources available for patients.
• Facilitate open lines of communication with participants, stakeholders, and the community to align and promote the mission of Life Change Behavioral Center.
• Build partnerships with various local, state, federal, and private organizations to expand opportunities for collaboration and funding.
• Engage in professional development activities such as attending workshops, conferences, and relevant meetings to enhance individual skills and contribute to the field.
• Promote the organization’s values and principles in every level of interaction with patients and partners.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life Change Behavioral Center, you will work with a diverse patient population that may experience a variety of challenges, including but not limited to emotional health disorders, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and issues related to acquired brain injuries. The center prioritizes person-centered care, focusing on building trusting relationships to ensure successful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in the mental health field is mandatory.
• Must possess an independent LMHC license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and screening tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal mental health regulations, as well as experience working in community health settings, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
