What you will be doing:
Software Automation Test Developer POSITION SUMMARY The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team, involved in delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools.
- Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and test scripts.
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the target under test.
- Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing.
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the test management system and the defect tracking system.
- Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints.
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience in Python development.
- Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie, Slash).
- Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins).
- Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving Python.
- Test Automation.
- .Net Framework.
- Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA).
- Experience with database (SQL).
- Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated capabilities are key qualitiesREST APIs.
