Job description

A local northside automotive manufacturer is seeking operators.

  • Must be willing to stand in one spot for long periods of time. 
  • Face paced work 
  • loading/unloading ovens, coaters, washers, glass cutters 
  • Must be available to work up to 10 hour days. 
  • Glass handling.
  • Must be ok getting gowned up, masked, hair net and booties when working in a clean room. Could be lifting coater fixers throughout the shift.
  • Lifting can be up to 50 pounds. 

CORE COMPETENCIES
  1. Ability to maintain procedures and standards.
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to operate within production and quality standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  1. High school diploma; or equivalent.  Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  2. Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively in a team environment.
  3. Demonstrated ability to operate within production and quality standards; including being able to operate/utilize all job-related equipment.  Equipment may include fork-lift, hand tools, production machinery, etc.
  4. Must be able to read/write in English
  5. Drug Screen and Background; some backgrounds are considered.
