In-House Real Estate & Project Development AttorneyAre you a commercial real estate attorney who wants to trade billable hours for a front-row seat on deals that build real infrastructure? Do you thrive on title and survey work, know a purchase and sale agreement inside and out, and want your legal advice to directly shape how projects get built? If so, this could be your next move.Latitude is working with a company in the renewable energy space that is adding an Associate Legal Counsel to its Real Estate and Project Development team in Nashville. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of real estate experience, has led site control and land use transactions independently, and is ready to be a trusted advisor to project development, external affairs, and project finance teams. This is a hands-on role: expect to manage purchase options, easements, and closings from start to finish, with real ownership over your deal flow.The ideal candidate will be able to work at the company's office location in Nashville, TN. Remote candidates must have 4+ years of commercial real estate experience, including working with renewable energy clients.Basic Requirements for the In-House Real Estate & Project Development Attorney:4+ years of real estate experience at a top-tier law firm or comparable in-house legal departmentSubstantial, independent experience with purchase and sale transactions, title and survey review, and closingAbility to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional business teamsRenewable energy experience is a plus, but not requiredActive bar admission in good standing in at least one stateExcellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law schoolOutstanding professional references from former supervisorsPosition Details of the In-House Real Estate & Project Development Attorney:Type of role: PermanentSchedule: Full-timeLocation: Nashville, TN (remote considered on a case-by-case basis)Compensation:Pay: The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $210,000 plus bonus.
