  • Identify safety, regulatory, and workers' compensation risk factors impacting PEO clients.
  • Develop and implement safety improvement plans designed to reduce injuries and improve client performance.
  • Assist clients in establishing effective safety committees, policies, procedures, and employee training programs.
  • Monitor client progress toward safety and risk management objectives and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support development and implementation of return-to-work and transitional duty programs.

oPEO Underwriting Support

  • Partner with underwriting during prospect evaluation, onboarding, renewal, and retention activities.
  • Evaluate prospective clients and provide risk management recommendations that support underwriting decisions.
  • Participate in pre-bind and renewal discussions to identify opportunities and concerns related to workplace risk.
  • Assist in evaluating loss trends, claim drivers, and operational changes that may affect account performance.

oClient Service and Account Management

  • Serve as the primary risk management liaison for assigned PEO clients.
  • Conduct client onboarding activities, including orientation, safety program review, and service plan development.
  • Collaborate with PEO service teams, claims professionals, and underwriting partners to deliver coordinated client solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with client leadership, HR teams, safety personnel, and agency partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of client contacts, recommendations, and service activities.

oTraining and Education

  • Deliver virtual and onsite training programs focused on workplace safety, injury prevention, regulatory compliance, and workers' compensation best practices.
  • Facilitate new client orientation and ongoing educational sessions.
  • Develop and distribute educational resources and risk management communications.

oData Analytics and Program Performance

  • Analyze loss runs, claim trends, and operational data to identify opportunities for risk improvement.
  • Utilize internal reporting tools and predictive insights to prioritize service activities.
  • Measure effectiveness of safety initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare client-facing reports, presentations, and performance reviews.

oCompliance and Regulatory Support

  • Monitor and communicate changes in OSHA, state, and industry safety regulations.
  • Support clients in understanding regulatory requirements and implementing compliant programs.
  • Assist with compliance-related initiatives and internal reporting requirements.
  • Escalate significant exposures and emerging risks to management as appropriate.
Qualifications

  • Experience in workers' compensation, loss control, risk management, occupational safety, insurance, or PEO operations.
  • Experience consulting with employers across multiple industries preferred.
  • Experience supporting PEO, staffing, or alternative workers' compensation programs preferred.
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation principles and cost drivers.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
  • Knowledge of PEO operations and co-employment relationships preferred.
  • Ability to analyze loss data and identify risk trends.
  • Strong presentation, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Interest in leveraging AI and technology to enhance risk management processes.
