Job description

Position Overview

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with Keep In Touch Counseling Solutions, you will be integral to our mission of providing exceptional mental health care tailored specifically for individuals in recovery. This full-time, remote opportunity allows you to utilize your skills in a supportive environment that prioritizes trauma-informed care and individualized treatment approaches.

About the Organization

Keep In Touch Counseling Solutions is a pioneering private practice dedicated to redefining mental health care delivery, particularly for those navigating the complexities of detox and recovery. We emphasize compassionate care, which enhances the therapeutic relationship between our social workers and clients. In our commitment to personal and professional growth, we foster a workplace that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Work Environment

This remote position is suited for candidates residing in or near Thousand Oaks, California, allowing flexibility while contributing to a meaningful cause. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who share a commitment to improving client outcomes through evidence-based practices. Weekly check-ins and team support systems ensure that you remain connected and engaged.

Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the therapeutic process:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs of each client, enabling you to create tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations, while also contributing to the overall quality assurance processes in place at our facility.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow clinicians, physicians, and support staff to provide a holistic approach to client care, discussing cases during multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Educate clients and their families about treatment options, support systems, and resources available to them throughout their recovery journey.
  • Stay actively involved in professional development by keeping abreast of emerging research and integrating best practices into your therapeutic approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be clients experiencing substance use disorders and the co-occurring mental health issues often associated with them. The detox center setting necessitates a strong understanding of the specific challenges faced by individuals in early recovery and a commitment to providing compassionate, informed support throughout their initial treatment phase.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Hold a valid and unrestricted LCSW license in California.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessments and the development of effective treatment strategies.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and connection with clients.
  • Be comfortable and proficient in using technology and remote platforms for therapy and collaboration.
Preferred Experience

Candidates with at least two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly those who have worked with substance use disorders or in detox environments, will be preferred. Experience with specific therapeutic modalities and frameworks can provide an additional advantage in successfully engaging our clientele.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching to help you secure your financial future.
  • Dental and disability insurance to enhance your and your family's health and wellbeing.
  • Employee support programs, ensuring you have access to the resources you need to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
