Job description

Job Description:
  • Perform inspection activities on manufactured products to ensure they meet quality standards. A great candidate for this position is detail-oriented and able to follow established procedures. This role involves opening products using small tools or machines and inspecting them under a digital microscope to determine functionality.
  • The associate may also be asked to participate in other tasks related to the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is critical.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Inspect manufactured products to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Use small tools and machines to open products for internal inspection.
  • Examine components under a digital microscope to determine functionality.
  • Accurately document inspection results and communicate findings.
  • Follow all SOPs, safety, and quality guidelines.
  • Assist with other manufacturing tasks as needed, including assembly, testing, and packaging.
  • Qualifications:
    High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in the manufacturing of medical devices is required.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications in English.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to use basic measurement tools, including microscopes.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift bags up to 15 lbs from containers.
    • Occasionally lift or move up to 30 lbs.
    • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
