Job description

Job Description:
The Production Moulding Regrind worker is responsible for material handling and housekeeping activities for an assigned area seeking assistance from material group and maintenance for any issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Handling of material of completed product to specified locations for regrind.
  • Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and comply with good manufacturing practices requirements.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team and individually with limited supervision.
  • Understand and interpret controlled documents including work Instructions and procedures.
  • Notify Material support groups and operations of any equipment issues.
  • Comply with all local client quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED NOT required.
  • 6-12 months previous professional work experience (in a related or unrelated field) required, manufacturing experience a plus.

Work Environment & Essential Physical Functions:

  • This position is in a manufacturing environment and the physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to optimally perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Employees may be frequently required to perform the following physical duties:
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Bending, stooping and reaching.
  • Walking, kneeling, balancing, crouching, pushing/pulling, repetitive grasping, hearing, twisting, lifting, frequent use of hand to finger, handle, feel, pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers.
  • Lifting requirements: may occasionally be required to lift up to 50 lbs, frequently lift up to 10 lbs, occasionally pulling/pushing up to 30 lbs, frequently pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs, frequently carry up to 5 lbs.
  • Almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, and potential temperature fluctuations.
