    Job description

    Summary:
    The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting sourcing activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services. This role works closely with internal departments to maintain inventory requirements, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with procurement policies while contributing to cost-saving initiatives.
    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders accurately and timely.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
    • Monitor inventory levels and support demand planning activities.
    • Analyze supplier performance metrics and recommend improvements.
    • Assist in negotiating pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
    • Resolve procurement-related issues including delivery delays and invoice discrepancies.
    • Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and supply chain.
    • Prepare procurement reports and track key performance indicators.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
    • Support supplier audits and qualification activities when required.
    • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure business continuity.

    Requirements:

    • 3-6 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing.
    • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
    • Knowledge of supply chain and procurement best practices.
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CPSM or APICS certification is preferred but optional.
