Description:The Acclaim Physician Group is currently seeking a full time (Night) Acute Care Provider to join our group and care for patients in our 32 bed Clinical Decision Unit. We are looking for a provider who is not afraid of a challenge and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting. The role would entail patient care responsibilities in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) located at the main JPS Health Network campus just south of downtown Fort Worth.
Join our collegial and team focused group of physicians and APP's in our 32 bed CDU.
Specific Details: CDU:
12-hour shifts
• Average of 20 CDU admissions per day
• 1 Advanced Practice Provider and 1 Physician per shift
• Working location for this position is at the main JPS Health Network campus only
• JPS is a 582-bed community hospital consisting of a Level 1 Trauma Center and a 36 bed Closed ICU
• This would be a part-time position
Duties and Essential Job Functions:1. Collaborates with the physician in overseeing and coordinating the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize quality patient care.
2. Reviews patient medical charts to assist physicians with diagnosis, treatment and care management.
3. Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring that the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.
4. Provides care education to patients and families.
5. Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores.
6. Maintains a collaborative environment with providers, clinical staff, and support staff.
7. Supports academic, educational and research endeavors.
8. Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required Experience:• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with an active Texas License
• Must have current Texas APRN license with ACNP certification
OR
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program with an active Texas License
• Valid, unrestricted DEA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Minimum of 2 years working independently as an advanced practice provider in an acute care setting
• Must be proficient in documentation and billing in an electronic medical record system
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to collaborate with other members of the healthcare team
• Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in area assigned, and competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis and treatment processes that apply to the assigned medical specialty area
• Must have good interpersonal, verbal and oral communication skills to work effectively with other health care professionals
• Must be self-directed and take initiative to develop and participate in community activities and medical outreach programs pertaining to the medical specialty area
• Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior
• Must be data driven and quality metric focused
• Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility
