Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong, therapeutic relationships with patients to foster trust and encourage open communication.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose various mental health disorders, tailoring treatment strategies effectively.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs, backgrounds, and goals.
• Lead counseling sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health challenges.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting an inclusive therapeutic environment.
• Refer clients to appropriate specialists or additional resources when necessary, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Document sessions and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse population, providing mental health services to individuals grappling with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Your work will be instrumental in helping clients navigate life stressors and improve their psychological resilience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills and the ability to cultivate meaningful connections with a diverse client base.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaborative teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in addiction counseling or working with clients facing co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for the treatment of substance use and mental health disorders.
• Prior experience in a community health setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, determined by qualifications and experience.
