    Location: Confidential
    Company: JRG Partners Client
    Position Overview:
JRG Partners is seeking a seasoned Director of Construction Operations with extensive experience in managing large multi-family construction projects, particularly throughout the New England region. This role involves end-to-end oversight, from strategic planning and budgeting to successful project completion. The Director will manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion with exceptional quality standards. The position requires a leader who can inspire high performance in project managers, superintendents, and field teams, while closely aligning project activities with strategic business goals. This role reports directly to the COO.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Leadership & Team Development: Lead the construction team with a focus on achieving goals and deadlines across large multi-family projects. Identify strengths and areas for development among team members and implement training and mentorship to elevate performance.
    • Strategic Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with leaders across departments to ensure cohesive alignment with the company's objectives and seamless coordination across all project phases.
    • Business Strategy & Growth: Create and execute strategies to drive business expansion, with a particular emphasis on multi-family developments. Develop business plans that align with the organization's growth and profitability goals.
    • Financial Oversight & Cost Control: Track project financial performance closely, implementing cost-saving measures to maintain budget adherence across complex, multi-family construction endeavors.
    • Client Relations & Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new projects, partnerships, and markets, focusing on multi-family construction. Lead client-facing proposal development, contract negotiations, and presentations.
    • Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple projects, ensuring each meets the highest quality standards while being delivered on time and within budget. Ensure contractual obligations are fully executed.
    • Reporting & Conflict Management: Provide senior management with regular updates on project performance and business development. Address and resolve issues that may arise during project execution or in business negotiations.
    • Talent Acquisition & Strategic Hiring: Lead the recruitment process and make strategic hiring decisions to expand and strengthen the construction team.

    Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in construction management, with a substantial focus on large-scale, multi-family projects across New England.
    • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in business development and management of complex multi-family construction projects.
    • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of construction processes, market dynamics, and business growth strategies in multi-family construction.
    • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a focus on aligning operational efficiency and business development.
    • Time Management & Adaptability: Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple deadlines in a high-paced environment, particularly on large multi-family projects.
    • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with DocuSign, Titanium, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred.
