Job description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Ivalua to design, develop, and implement Client's next-generation unified sourcing platform built on the Ivalua Procurement Suite. This role supports a Priority 1 (P1) Objective (O1/KR3) initiative to replace fragmented pricing and supplier negotiation processes with a fully integrated, end-to-end digital sourcing platform.

The engineer will play a key role in delivering automation capabilities including Integrated Price List (IPL/Pricemaster), RPU (Request Price Update) Automation, and Ship-to Rerouting, directly contributing to Client's Purchase Order (PO) Automation Rate by eliminating manual intervention from sourcing through PO execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong Ivalua development expertise with procurement domain knowledge, integration experience, and the ability to build scalable enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions on the Ivalua Procurement platform.
  • Build scalable workflows, business rules, forms, approval processes, and automation capabilities.
  • Configure sourcing, supplier, pricing, and procurement modules aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop reusable components and technical frameworks to support enterprise sourcing capabilities.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Client's architecture, security, and engineering standards.
  • Support production deployments and hypercare activities.
  • Investigate and resolve production defects and system issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
  • Monitor application health and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Sourcing, Product Management, and Architecture teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of enterprise software development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Ivalua platform development and configuration experience.
  • Strong experience developing procurement and sourcing applications.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications with ERP and procurement platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and object‑oriented programming.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing Ivalua Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions.
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and pricing processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or other procurement platforms.
  • Experience with cloud integration technologies and middleware.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tools.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow automation.
  • Ivalua certification is preferred.
