IQ Consultant / Intranet Quorum (IQ) Enterprise Application Support

Company: SMX Services & Consulting, Inc.

 Client/Program: U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)

 Location: Remote

 Position Type: Contract – Contingent Upon Government Contract Award

 Pay Range: $117.30–$124.20/hour

Mandatory Eligibility

U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates who are not U.S. citizens cannot be considered.

Candidates must also meet applicable DOJ 3-of-5-year residency requirements and successfully complete all required DOJ personnel security, cybersecurity, privacy, and system-access requirements.

Position Summary

SMX is seeking an experienced Intranet Quorum (IQ) Consultant to support a DOJ enterprise application initiative. The consultant will provide technical expertise across the assessment, migration, configuration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, stabilization, and modernization of Intranet Quorum environments.

The role will collaborate with government application owners, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, DBAs, developers, project management, and third-party vendors.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of professional IT experience
  • 5+ years supporting enterprise application implementations, migrations, modernization, or production environments
  • Direct Intranet Quorum (IQ) administration, implementation, development, migration, integration, or support experience strongly preferred
  • Enterprise application migrations to test and production environments
  • AWS/cloud environments and application modernization
  • APIs, databases, integrations, application servers, and enterprise systems
  • Production deployments, migrations, and cutovers
  • Federal, regulated, or security-sensitive environment experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess existing IQ environments, configurations, dependencies, and migration requirements.
  • Install, configure, migrate, validate, and troubleshoot IQ applications and supporting services.
  • Support migrations into test and production environments, including readiness, cutover, rollback, and contingency planning.
  • Identify and resolve application compatibility, configuration, integration, and migration issues.
  • Support functional, integration, security, UAT, smoke, performance, and post-migration testing.
  • Troubleshoot post-deployment issues and provide stabilization support.
  • Coordinate with application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity personnel, DBAs, developers, and vendors.
  • Maintain technical, architectural, migration, operational, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
  • Support vulnerability remediation, continuous monitoring, security controls, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities.
  • Support approved modernization initiatives involving AWS, cloud-native/serverless architecture, APIs, data modernization, DevSecOps, automation, and analytics.
  • Provide technical knowledge transfer to government personnel.

Work Schedule

The position is expected to be remote, with a government core support window of 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for scheduled migrations, deployments, cutovers, or maintenance.

Compensation

$117.30 - $124.20 per hour, depending on directly relevant experience, qualifications, IQ expertise, and final assignment requirements.

Important – Contingent Opportunity

This position supports a pending U.S. Government procurement. Employment, start date, hours, and assignment are contingent upon contract award, government authorization, successful completion of eligibility/security requirements, and final program staffing needs.
