Invesco's platform enables financial advisors and institutions to deliver personalized equity and fixed income solutions through custom model portfolios and SMAs tailored to client objectives, risk preferences, and tax considerations. These solutions leverage open architecture, advanced analytics, and centralized technology platforms to deliver scalable, client-centric investment outcomes. The technology organization supports this ecosystem through modern cloud, data, and AI capabilities that enable personalization at scale across the wealth management landscape.
Your Role
As Director, Solutions & Custom Strategies Technology, you will lead the technology domain supporting wealth platforms, model portfolios, and SMA capabilities across equities and fixed income. You will oversee both delivery and architecture for solutions that enable portfolio construction, customization, and distribution across advisors and platforms. This role requires strong expertise in wealth technology, including model portfolio ecosystems, SMA platforms, and advisor workflows. You will lead through subordinate managers while partnering with investment, distribution, and product teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions powered by Snowflake and AI.
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Leading the end-to-end technology strategy and execution for model portfolios, SMAs, and custom investment solutions across the wealth channel
  • Managing and developing subordinate leaders and teams delivering advisor-facing and portfolio construction platforms
  • Enabling the delivery of custom model portfolios and SMA solutions, supporting personalized investment strategies across equities and fixed income
  • Driving the architecture of portfolio construction, model management, and distribution platforms integrated with advisor and custodian ecosystems
  • Building and scaling data platforms leveraging Snowflake to unify portfolio, client, market, and performance data across wealth workflows
  • Enabling advanced analytics, portfolio insights, and personalization through AI-driven capabilities (e.g., client personalization, portfolio optimization, and advisor insights)
  • Translating business strategy into scalable technology and data roadmaps supporting growth in managed accounts and model-based solutions
  • Partnering with product, distribution, and advisory teams to align technology capabilities with client needs and evolving wealth management trends
  • Ensuring strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across managed accounts and advisory platforms
  • Driving integration with third-party platforms, including custodians, trading systems, and portfolio management tools

The Experience You Bring:
  • Extensive experience leading technology organizations within wealth management or asset management environments
  • Deep expertise in wealth technology platforms, including model portfolio systems, SMA platforms, and advisor workflows
  • Strong understanding of custom model portfolios and separately managed accounts (SMAs), including portfolio construction, customization, and tax-aware strategies
  • Experience supporting investment strategies across equities and fixed income, including multi-asset portfolio construction and asset allocation
  • Proven experience implementing Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms to support investment analytics, reporting, and personalization
  • Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics to deliver client personalization, portfolio insights, or advisor productivity solutions
  • Strong understanding of portfolio modeling, asset allocation frameworks, and performance analytics
  • Proven ability to lead managers and senior engineers in a complex, global organization
  • Strong cloud engineering and architecture experience, including integration of front-, middle-, and back-office systems
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across investment, product, and distribution organizations
