Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to determine developmental needs.
  • Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring that each plan adheres to evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of implemented strategies to ensure effective support and development for children and families.
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families, promoting a nurturing environment that encourages development.
  • Guide families through the early intervention process by providing essential information and practical strategies to support their child's growth.
  • Stay compliant with all Federal and State regulations, adhering strictly to best practices to ensure the health and safety of all involved.
  • Utilize coaching models and natural environment teaching approaches in daily interactions.
  • Adapt treatment methodologies to meet diverse learning styles and family dynamics.
  • Provide training and support to families, enhancing their skills to foster their child's developmental milestones.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position will be on children from birth to age three, particularly those experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will work collaboratively with families to design personalized support strategies that respect their unique situations and enhance the child's learning experiences. This role is vital in facilitating early intervention programs that lay the foundation for future success.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver’s license to facilitate potential visits, if needed.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working within early intervention settings, specifically with children.
  • Proficiency in applying Natural Learning Environment Practices to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
