Job description

City Security Services is looking for professional security officers who understand that effective security requires both vigilance and respectful interaction with the public.
As a Transit Security Officer, you will help maintain secure transport facilities while assisting passengers, employees, and visitors.
Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77011
Schedule: Full-Time, Split Shift, 32 hours/week

  • Friday: 6:00am-2:00pm
  • Saturday: 6:00am-2:00pm
  • Sunday: 2:00pm-10:00pm
  • Monday: 2:00pm-10:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional security coverage.
  • Conduct routine patrols.
  • Monitor public areas.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity.
  • Respond to security alerts.
  • Respond to emergency and alarm conditions.
  • Assist individuals who are sick or injured.
  • Coordinate emergency assistance.
  • Process visitors.
  • Report facility hazards and equipment problems.
  • Monitor compliance with facility requirements.
  • Take legally authorized action when appropriate.
  • Complete reports and follow post orders.

Qualifications
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Active Level 3 certification.
  • Guard license in hand.
  • Baton and OC certifications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Three-year clean driving record.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Successful PRT completion.
  • Successful 24-hour training completion.
  • Required education/experience combination.
