Position Overview

Inspire Change Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative telehealth team. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule designed to accommodate both client needs and your own. You will work as part of a supportive team that prioritizes collaboration and integrates best practices in mental health care. Your hours will primarily run Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a balanced work-life harmony while focusing on fulfilling your role as a mental health advocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the specific needs of each client, establishing a meaningful therapeutic alliance from the very beginning.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and are geared toward achieving sustainable progress and recovery.
• Facilitate therapy sessions—both individual and group—targeting a range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Address crisis situations with composure and professional expertise, ensuring clients receive timely interventions.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the mental health field to continually enhance service delivery and client engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on serving diverse client groups facing various mental health challenges. Clients may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use, among other issues. By applying a client-centered approach, you will foster trust and facilitate healing, contributing to better mental health outcomes for our community.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctoral degree are also encouraged to apply.
• Exemplary communication skills to enhance relationship building with clients and present complex concepts clearly.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and schedule client appointments efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, involving direct client interaction.
• Experience in providing remote therapy services or familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.
• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits
