Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate connections between clients and valuable community resources, guiding them towards additional support networks that enhance their journey towards mental wellness.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic virtual team to share best practices, seek guidance, and amplify ideas that enhance care delivery and improve client outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational protocols.
  • Utilize advanced telehealth technologies, such as video conferencing platforms and electronic health record systems, to streamline communication and care management.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Our services are designed to be inclusive, addressing the unique cultural and social determinants of health affecting our clients in the Oakland area and beyond. Your role will be crucial in building trusting relationships and providing consistent support, thereby contributing to their overall mental health advocacy.

Qualifications

  • An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the state of California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating capability to deliver quality care.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a remote environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary for establishing rapport with clients and maintaining detailed case records.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health setting or with diverse populations, including low-income and underserved communities.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices, platforms, and electronic documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of mental health laws, ethics, and best practices related to clinical social work.
Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of USD 115,000 to 120,000 per year, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision).
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.
  • A flexible work-life balance that emphasizes mental wellness and personal wellbeing.
