What will I do as an MIT with Insomnia Cookies?
  • Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
  • Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members involved in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
  • Lead onboarding and initial training of new hourly staff.
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence.
  • Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
  • Ensure staff adhere to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.).
  • Drive upselling and ensure excellent customer service from all team members.
Desired skills/experience:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store
  • Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day week with 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
  • Must be 18+ and legally eligible for employment in the U.S.
