Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring an accurate understanding of their mental health needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique requirements, goals, and therapeutic preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Provide educational sessions for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care techniques.

• Continuously monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, integrating new information into practice to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to continually hone skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients by actively working to reduce mental health stigma and ensuring their needs are met on both individual and community levels.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders including depression, anxiety, and related issues. Our practice is committed to supporting diverse populations and addressing their unique needs with tailored treatment approaches. By fostering trusting relationships, you will create a safe space for clients to explore their emotions while promoting healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• Currently possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Display empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences, fostering a supportive environment for growth and healing.

• Possess strong organizational and time management skills to effectively balance a diverse client caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy for mood disorders, including familiarity with evidence-based practices.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team setting.

• A background in providing services to diverse populations is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
