Position Overview

Inner Zenith Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a rewarding full-time capacity. This remote position allows you to provide impactful mental health services from the comfort of your own location while making a difference in the lives of clients throughout Edison, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to receive an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, identifying their strengths and resource access.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapies employing various evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Utilize approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy to guide clients towards healing and personal development.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that define clear objectives and interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to coordinate care for clients, ensuring seamless treatment delivery.
  • Offer crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and create safety plans, addressing immediate client safety and mental health support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Lead and facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducational classes designed to enhance therapeutic experiences and learning among clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse clientele ranging from individuals experiencing various mental health challenges to couples and families navigating relational difficulties. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities and treatment approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, alongside proficiency in clinical assessment methods.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health or outpatient clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement effective treatment strategies and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms to provide effective remote therapy is a plus.
